1 Jn. 1:5 “God Is Good”

 

This is day 11 of 40 Days to Easter. Today we talk about the goodness of God. According to 1 Jn. 1:5, “God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.” In the Bible, light and darkness is compared to good and evil. God is good. In Jas. 1:13, the apostle James says “God cannot be tempted by evil.” Jesus, God the Father’s Son, is good as well. According to Heb.

4:15, “we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”

God is perfect. Tomorrow we will talk about man’s imperfection. Today let’s be thankful that God is good. Have a great day!
