2 Timothy 3:15 “Salvation Through Faith in Jesus”
This is Thursday, February 25, day 2 of forty days to Easter. God’s Word is the foundation of all we believe and do. The most important thing any of us can do is reflected in 2 Tim. 3:15, “and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
Man’s problem is that all have sinned and the wages of sin is death, eternal separation from God (Rom. 3:23; 6:23). God’s answer is Jesus Christ, who died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins (Romans 5:8). Our response needs to be faith in Jesus Christ, depending on Him to save us based on what He did on the cross (John. 3:16; 1:12). The question all of us need to answer is, “What have I done with Jesus Christ?” Would you like to pray something like this: “Lord, I know that I am a sinner and I do not deserve to go to heaven. But I know that Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin. Right now I turn from my sin and depend on Jesus to save me, give me everlasting life, and help me live for you. Thank you, Lord!”
If you prayed to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, or if you want to talk about the possibility of doing so, please email me at ron@catawbalive.com. I hope you have a great day!
