Phil. 1:9 Growing in Love”

 

Paul prayed for the people of the church at Philippi in Phil. 1:9-11.

His first request was for them to grow in love. “And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment.” When Jesus was asked about the greatest commandment in the Old Testament, He responded by giving two, loving the Lord and loving one’s neighbor. Love should be our priority as well, both vertical and horizontal. We were created for fellowship with God and others and our love should be improving on a regular basis. Do you need to grow in love?
