Jn. 11:1-44 “Impossible Situations”
It was an impossible situation, at least according to the perspective of Martha and Mary. Their brother Lazarus had gotten sick and died, and Jesus was nowhere around. But then Jesus came. And after some conversation with Martha and Mary, Jesus said, “Lazarus, come forth.”
Lazarus’ resurrection from the dead took place not long before Jesus Himself would be raised from the dead on Easter morning. And because Jesus rose again, we can face impossible situations and we can walk in newness of life! That is reason to praise God.
I look forward to seeing you at Catawba Baptist Church this morning at 10:30. We will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper, remembering what Jesus did for us on the cross. Have a great day!
