Lk. 24:1-12 “Jesus Is Alive”

 

Christ is risen; He is risen indeed. This is Easter Sunday morning, an opportunity to celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The ladies who went to the tomb to place spices on Jesus’ body expected to find a corpse, but instead they found an empty tomb. The should have remembered what Jesus had said to them, about being crucified and rising again from the dead, but they were surprised when they found that Jesus is alive. Because Jesus died and rose again, we can experience eternal life and abundant life through faith in Him. That is news worth celebrating!
