Thoughts

• John the Baptist pointed out Jesus to a couple of his disciples, referring to Him as the Lamb of God. When Jesus noticed them following Him, He asked them what they wanted. It seems to me that they did not know what to say so they asked Him where He was staying. They ended up spending the rest of the day with Him, from 4:00 pm on. After spending time with Jesus, Andrew went and found his brother Peter and brought him to Jesus after telling him he had found the Messiah. When Philip was introduced to Christ, he in turn found his friend Nathaniel and invited him to meet Jesus, in spite of Nathaniel asking him some hard questions.
• Both Andrew and Philip, when they met Jesus, had one person in mind that they wanted to introduce to Jesus. They then went out of their way and did what it took to lead their one to Jesus. We need to do the same, to think of a family member or friend who might need Jesus and then do what it takes to introduce them to our Savior.
• During 50 Days of Purpose, let’s be praying and depending on God to help us to do His will, to accomplish His purpose, for His glory. We will be blessed if we do so.
