Thoughts

Are you tired yet? It is possible to get learning fatigue, which occurs when a person learns a lot but does not put it into practice. For two and a half weeks we have been discussing our responsibility as disciples to lead people to Jesus, to fish for men. What have we done about it? How have we applied what we have been learning?
-
Most of us realize the bad news that we are sinners and separated from God and that we deserve to spend eternity in hell (Romans 3:23; 6:23). Most of us realize the good news that Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and that through turning from our sin and depending on Jesus to save us we have eternal and abundant life (Romans 5:8; John 1:12; 3:1610:10b). Many of us have made the choice to say yes to Jesus. The question is, “Are we telling others?”
-
Make sure that you are praying for at least one person who might need Jesus as Savior. And pray for an opportunity to tell someone about Jesus in the next ten days. You might want to invite someone over for supper or take someone out to eat. You might want to try reading the tract passed out on Sunday to a family member or friend or someone at a ballgame (practice first). Determine that you are going to pray and do something, with God’s help!
