4/12/25 Isaiah 41:10 “All About Relationship”
Coming to Jesus! Waiting on the Lord! Abiding in Christ! It is all about relationship. And our relationship with the Lord is something we can count on. Jesus said in Hebrews 13:5, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Verse 6 goes on to say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Peter in 1 Peter 5:7 talks about “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” And Paul asks a rhetorical question in Romans 8:32. “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”
One of my favorite verses is Isaiah 41:10. Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” The promise originally was directed toward Israel, but it correlates with other promises made to us as Christians. God is our God, and He is with us. We can depend on Him no matter what comes our way. He will give us strength, help, and whatever else we may need. “The Lord is our Shepherd.” Indeed, He will take care of His own.
