Wednesday Night, January 6th
Happy New Year! I am looking forward to seeing what God does in and through Catawba Baptist Church during 2021. He "is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us" and He deserves glory and honor (Eph. 3:20-21).
Because of the rise in covid cases and to be as safe as possible after the Christmas holidays, children and youth will not be meeting this Wednesday night, January 6. We will have Bible Study and Prayer in the Worship Center. Thank you for your prayers as we navigate covid during this new year. -Pastor Ron

Letter from the Mary and Dena McAnally
Dear Church Family,
We recently received a large gift of money given through the church for our ministry and we want to express thanks. The money is timely given as it will help us address various needs in the Isaan Thailand ministry that are coming before us. We are thankful for those who donated this money. We wish all of our church family a very blessed Christmas and ask you to pray for the Christmas outreach events happening in December so many Isaan villagers will come to Christ!
With love,
Marty and Dena McAnally

Voting Results
Yesterday, December 13, the church voted to affirm the 2021 budget and approved the proposal to use about $42,000 from Fruit That Remains to pay for recent and future work at the Connection (the two AC Units for the Sanctuary, asphalt work, and repairing the roof). The church also approved the proposal to use Fruit That Remains to build a regular construction building to house the three buses and provide storage at a cost of about $50,000.

Catawba Sports
The Catawba Sports Ministry Team has decided to cancel winter sports (basketball and cheer) because of COVID-19. Social distancing in a gym and playing basketball is difficult, and we want to be safe. Thank for your understanding. Because it is outside, playing baseball in the spring should be no problem.

We are voting this Sunday on the budget and two proposals as follows. If you need a copy of the budget by email, request it from . These proposals are coming from Property and Space, Stewardship, Personnel, Deacons, and Church Council.
Proposal 1: We propose that we use about $42,000 from Fruit That Remains to pay for recent and future work at the Connection: the two AC Units for the Sanctuary, asphalt work, and repairing the roof.
Proposal 2: We also propose that we use Fruit That Remains to build a regular construction building to house the three buses and provide storage. The cost for the building would be about $50,000. It would have three automatic garage doors and trusses that would enable storage in the attic
